Welcome to the Early Childhood Center!
The Early Childhood Center (ECC) is the district’s centralized kindergarten and preschool and we are privileged to be educating Decatur’s youngest students! This year we are excited to continue offering outstanding preschool programs for 3-5 year olds. Our Developmental Preschool primarily serves students with developmental delays or disabilities in a half-day setting. Our Community Preschool is a tuition-based full-day preschool for children who live in Decatur Township or are the children of people who work for the Decatur Township Schools. Speech therapy is also offered at no cost to eligible students. Please call RISE Special Services at 789-1650 for eligibility determination.
In 2009-2010, we are in our third year of offering full-day kindergarten for all of our kindergarten students! We are committed to making every child in Decatur a successful student!
